Barbara has written a memoir/self-help book that looks through the lens of family dynamics, personal narrative-making, and the legacy of slavery and institutional racism to examine the core beliefs that took a toll on her heart and how she is transforming those beliefs. She offers personal practices that guide us through self-reflection, perspective-taking, and celebration.
On top of being an author, Barbara has an extensive background in innovative marketing at top-notch companies such as Microsoft, YMCA, Unilever, and more. She has experience in marketing efforts through centralizing and expanding the marketing department, replacing legacy marketing technology, transforming internal processes, and championing data-driven decision making. She has also developed mobile marketing training, process, and tools as well as consulting on critical projects for the company.
