Account Direction and Digital Ramp Up at SMG

So much for the summer slowing down, in fact, it’s quite the opposite. Given the growth of the business, SalientMG has added two seasoned additions to the team, a new account director and director of strategic marketing.

Jordan Ankerbrandt has joined SalientMG as Account Director to bring best practices to account management for our clients—focusing on keeping our work on-time and on-budget, and driving consistent communications with our clients. She has extensive experience managing complex client accounts after several years at major agencies in New York City including McGarryBowen, Grey and EuroRSCG (now Havas), with clients like Verizon, Lysol and Latisse.

Jordan’s expertise is focused around creating and executing fully integrated and strategic campaigns for clients. From social media strategy and channel management, to video and TV commercial development, to digital and mobile advertising, she has vast experience with developing and implementing holistic and seamless campaigns for both B2B and B2C clients.
In her role as Account Director, Jordan works closely with SalientMG’s Strategic Marketing Director to ensure all programs are hitting the right client KPIs, as quickly and efficiently as possible.

David Rewalt brings two decades of experience in marketing, particularly digital, product, e-commerce, retail and licensing to his role as Strategic Marketing Director at SalientMG. In this role, he is responsible for creating actionable strategic marketing plans for SMG’s clients.

With his complete focus on a data-driven approach to strategic marketing, David creates mobile and digital-first organizations. David leverages best-in class digital tools to maximize clients’ performance goals and he delivers actionable insights through his deep understanding of analytics and attribution.

Most recently, David was the Director of Digital Consumer Marketing for Gannett’s 80+ digital newspaper brands, where he led a team focused on digital, mobile and social campaigning, digital and ecommerce infrastructure improvements and end-to-end analytics. He has extensive global B2B and B2C marketing experience from companies such as Seagate Technology, where he led digital marketing efforts for Seagate’s $1 billion revenue/year retail product business.

Prior to Gannett, David led global channel marketing and licensing for VIZ Media, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Shueisha/Shogakukan; and at XM Satellite Radio where his team built XM’s direct to consumer business and added over a million subscribers in four years, exceeding projections for 16 straight quarters.

I couldn’t be happier that Jordan and Dave have joined the team. They each bring unique disciplines to SalientMG that will enable our clients to grow and scale even faster.
