She is  also the host of “Studio 1.0,”​ a long-form interview series, where she speaks to influencers in tech and media.  Before joining Bloomberg, Emily was an International Correspondent for CNN based in Beijing and London.

She is also on the board of BUILD, a non-profit organization that helps keep disadvantaged, disengaged kids in school by teaching them entrepreneurship.
