Jessica (Doyle) Lewis

Jessica Doyle is a proven expert in strategic and crisis communications, storytelling and content, and audience engagement. In her role as Vice President, Global Communications and Engagement Marketing at Etsy Inc., she was responsible for amplifying the company’s brand image, cultivating its corporate culture, and helping to highlight innovator and disruptor storylines through authentic narratives.
Prior to Etsy, Jessica was the Director of Corporate Communications, Distribution, Loyalty & Partnerships for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., where she led global internal and external communications for the Commercial Services division, including all top-line revenue functions.
Jessica honed her storytelling skills in a very different arena, having spent nearly 20 years as an award-winning broadcaster and journalist. Her experience covering corporate America revealed a gap that she could fill—applying a strategic storytelling approach to drive growth, build brands and change customer behavior for Fortune 500 companies.
Her unique “outside-in” perspective informs development of positioning and policy to address corporate risk. Her unflappable demeanor in high-pressure situations has made her an invaluable advisor to senior leaders during executive transitions, mergers and integrations, and crisis communications.
Jessica mentors other communications professionals and journalists—often women who are transitioning to work in corporate PR or advance their careers as professional communicators. In that same vein of contributing toward future leadership, she serves on the board of SalientMG, an award-winning strategic marketing and communications firm for growth-stage tech companies.
Although she has several panel and podcast speaking credits, Jessica focuses her energy on direct contributions to the companies she advises and the career growth of those around her. To that point, her teams have won AdWeek “Marketers of the Year” and PRWeek “Best Place to Work” awards.
Jessica earned a degree in English Literature from the University of Chicago, graduating with distinction in only three years.
Her hobbies include adoring her pets (she currently has four) and oil painting. She has also served as a public advocate for the American Diabetes Association.
