SalientMG, a strategic marketing firm that specializes in go-to-market strategies and executive visibility programs for technology companies, today announced it has added to its growing senior team with the hiring of Michelle Mellon who will serve as the firm’s director of content. Michelle brings more than 20 years of professional storytelling and content strategy experience for SalientMG’s Edtech, Martech, E-commerce, Adtech and other tech-based clients.
In her new role, Michelle will lead the development and execution of SalientMG’s clients’ content strategy and planning, as well as lead all editorial oversight, thought leadership and research programs.

Since 2002, Michelle has worked as a writing and editing consultant in both the print and digital industries, as well as served as a content lead in several in-house positions. Prior to SalientMG, her most recent full-time position was with the process mining software unicorn, Celonis, in Munich, Germany, where she served as the English-language marketing content lead and chief editor of the corporate blog.

Michelle also worked as the senior manager of communications for land conservation nonprofit Peninsula Open Space Trust, as the staff writer and content manager for the San Francisco Dogfish professional ultimate frisbee team, and as senior copywriter for LeapFrog electronic educational toys.
Michelle holds a B.A. in English from The College of William & Mary and an M.A. in Liberal Studies from Georgetown University and is based in the Bay Area.
